Our Foundation mare was *Coosheen Penny Royal. After 35 years of breeding we are still producing a high quality competive and type representative for the Connemara Breed. Shammer Eagle bred by Maureen Loughman Able 2014 ACPS Approved Purebred Connemara by *Canal Laurinston and out of Shammer Tessie Sparrow (*Ballinaboy Eamonn X Grange Deidre Sparrow). He is 14.1 hands and turning grey. Eagles sire is Joan Webster's Stallion *Canal Laurinston, a premier performance stallion with a 16 yr career in six "open" recognized disciplines, USEA, USDF, and UsEF, ultimately winning the ACPS "Hall of Fame, "Stallion Performance Trophy" and awarded the ACPS "Hall of Fame" Tooreen Laddie Tropy for his contributions to the American Connemara as a Foundation Breeding Stallion. On Eagle's Dam side Ballinaboy Eamonn also was awarded the "Hall Of Fame" Tooreen Laddie Trophy for his contributions to the American Connemara as a foundation breeding stallion. Eamonn won his class at Cliften as a foal and again as a yearling, very rare. Canal Laurenston also showed at Clifen as a yearling winning second. Eamonn earned Gold Medallions in "Open" recognized disciplines, with USEA, USDF, and USEF. He won them in hand, dressage, jumpers, hunter, and eventing. thus ultimatly winning the ACPS "Hall of Fame" Stallion Performanc Trophy and the "Golden Shamrock Award." Eagle's dam's dam, *Grange Dierdre Sparrow, won the Hall of Fame Broodmare trophy, and his sire's dam, Village Laura, was Supreme Champion of the Clifton Show. Eagle has big shoes to fill to say the least. With his kind spirit and willing disposition on top of his athletism he is on his way to doing just that. Our goal is that Eagle become an outstanding ambassador for the Connemara Breed!
